Isopodcast (2021)

With an ever-growing world of technology designed to distract us, it is easier than ever to lose sight of the things that matter.

Do the forests miss our attention?

I strongly believe that if technology has the power to distract us, we can also redirect that power in the opposite way. We can design technology to help us become more grounded in the present moment. Isopodcast was created to explore this approach.

Using the app on your phone, you'll go on a guided walk through a park of your choosing. Along the way, you'll be invited to experience your surroundings with greater attention. Are you curious about what the woodlice have to say today? Or what can be heard inside the trunk of a tree? Experience it alone or with a partner, guided by your phone.

Isopodcast is available in Dutch and for Android phones.
